“Perfect” Way to Start the Week

199_foot_cross_in_Louisiana One of my favorite worship songs is one I hadn’t heard before we started attending Plymouth Covenant Church last spring. Apparently I was the only one who hadn’t heard it because there are LOTS of renditions of it out there!

It’s entitled Good Good Father. I’m not sure who actually wrote it since I’ve heard a number of artists sing it. (If you know, let me know so I can give credit where it’s due.) It’s a song about who God is and who we are, and why that matters. It does, you know.

In the last few weeks, social media and all of the news sites have been filled with sadness, fear, anger, uncertainty, and grief. So to start a brand new week, during which we’ll take time to recognize and be thankful for our many blessings, here is one of my favorite groups singing one of my favorite songs. I hope it will stick in your head and heart like it has in mine.

Happy Thanksgiving!
